Hotham is a magnificent resort and the only one in Australia that you can fly direct into. Falls Creek is the largest skiing and snowboarding resort in Victoria and is located further into the mountains. It has the most reliable snowfalls of all the resorts. Mt Buller and Mt Buffalo are also equipped with plenty of lifts and all of the latest ski equipment and a wide variety of skiing and snowboarding terrain.

In New Zealand there are skiing and snowboarding resorts on both the north and south islands. On the north island Mt Ruapehu is the place to go. Here the twin resorts of Turoa and Whakapapa have been joined together to offer New Zealands largest ski field. Plenty of lifts and great slopes will add to the excitement of skiing on the slopes of an active volcano. On the south island there are many places to go skiing and snowboarding. A choice of small local resorts and internationally recognised skiing destinations give you plenty of reasons to smile. West of Christchurch and along the road accross Arthurs Pass are lots of options. Mt Hutt is the best known and the largest of the resorts here and shuttle bus services operate daily. Porter Heights and Hanmer Springs are also great alternatives. Queenstown is the most popular skiing destination in New Zealand with lots of alternatives. Places like Coronet Peak, Snow Park, Cardrona, The Remarkables and Treble Cone offer fantastic faciliies.The towns of Wanaka and Queenstown both offer fantastic accommodation options.
